For therapists and counselors, pastors and rabbis, family lawyers and mediators, adoption and foster care workers, and the reviewers who help us get the words right.
What the stories are
Short, calm audio bedtime stories for children 3 to 12 going through a family change: divorce and separation, foster care, adoption, a blended family, a loss, a move, a new school or a new sibling. Six plush friends appear across the stories, and the same story sounds the same in every home. A grown-up chooses the story; children listen or read along.
Little Haven is not therapy, not treatment and not legal advice. The stories never promise an outcome, never take a side, and never say whose fault a change is.
How they are reviewed
Each story is reviewed before it is published by the professionals it needs:
- Mental health
- Faith
- Foster care and adoption
- Family law and estate
A story cannot be published until its reviews are marked complete. Each faith closing needs sign-off from an adviser of that tradition. Closings at launch are everyday and Christian. We are drafting Jewish closings now.
Free stories to share
The Always Here stories are free for good, with no account and no sign-in. Families can play them on any phone or find them in a podcast app.
